Marines Get New Aircraft

Twelve MV-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft arrived at Marine Corps Air Station in Iwakuni, Japan aboard the merchant vessel Green Ridge.  The Ospreys were shipped from San Diego to replace 12 CH-46 helicopters.  As part of the aviation transition, Marines are replacing the CH-46 helicopters with 21st century technology.
