Tunneling Under Bagram’s Airfield

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers recently added a much needed tunneling system underneath Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan.

Prior to this tunneling there was a Russian-era culvert but that system was no longer useable and wasn’t nearly as useful as the tunnel USACE now created. Not only will the base will see improved drainage, but it also connects to Coyote Creek.

Check out the work they did.
