Care Packages are “Truly a Blessing”

For United States Air Force airmen stationed in Afghanistan, getting a taste of home through means of a car package can  be a huge morale booster. The postal section of the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing receives anywhere from 500 to 1,500 packages regularly, so sifting through those and getting them to airmen down range is a huge part of their job. It’s exactly this reason that if you are planning on sending a care package down range, you need to plan ahead of time.
