Blue Angels to Return in 2014

The Blue Angels are used as a tool to tell the story of the Navy and Marine Corps; a tool to inspire. Unfortunately, this past year they weren’t able to inspire as they normally would.

In 2013, as a result of budget constraints due to sequestration, the United States Navy cancelled the majority of the Blue Angels air shows. If you love the Blue Angels and their spectacular acrobatics, we have some great news for you. The Navy recently announced that the team of precision pilots will indeed be returning to air fields world-wide in 2014.

Are you excited to see this incredibly impressive team of pilots and flight crew? Are you waiting to be inspired as I have been (it was the Blue Angels that inspired me to join the Navy)? Beginning March 15, 2014, get ready to watch them fly high again.

Apparently, I’m not the only one that sees them as an inspiration.
