F-22 Pilots Train with Jamming Pods

Electronic countermeasures. What are they? ECM, as it’s casually known, is an electronic device which tricks radar equipment. Many air forces use this device to protect aircraft from guided missiles and almost all aircraft use antenna mounted jamming pods. In this U.S. Air Force video, we take a look at how the service uses jamming pods to help train F-22 pilots.
