Light It Up Blue

Military children at Yokota Air Base, Japan are getting ready for April and Autism Awareness month with a craft project. The blue lanterns they are making will go on display at the Yokota Community Center for a campaign known as “Light It Up Blue“.

In a related topic, this month we celebrate “Month of the Military Child”. The Month of the Military Child is a time set aside specifically to recognize the difficulties and hardships that many military children go through.
