Army Representatives Discuss Month of the Military Child

In 1986, Secretary of Defense Caspar W. Weinberger declared every April as Month of the Military Child.

From frequent moves, to being separated from deployed family members, the resilience of the military child shines year round. The Month of the Military Child is a month set aside to show appreciation for that resilience.

U.S. Army Representatives Jo-Ellen Darcy and Katherine Hammack acknowledge that resilience.
