Patients – The Heart of Army Medicine

The Army Medicine motto, “Serving to Heal, honored to serve,” is taken a step further during the month of February by recognizing patients, who are the Heart of Army Medicine[PDF].

“We must never forget that patients are the reason we exist,” Lt. Gen. Patricia Horoho, Army Surgeon General, said in a video message posted to the Army Medicine YouTube channel.
