Commander in Chief, Barack Obama signed a 633 billion dollar defense spending bill into law, which he said will provide support for service members and their families, and help ensure the United States will continue to have one of the strongest militaries in the world.
On Jan. 7, President Obama announced his nominations for the next Defense Secretary and the next C.I.A. Director in former U.S. Senator Chuck Hagel, and John Brennan, respectively. Both men will have to be confirmed by Congress.
