Worth A Thousand Words: Urgent Medical Care

An Afghan man lies in a treatment bed while members of the 541st Forward Surgical Team (FST) (Airborne) provide urgent medical care on FOB Farah, Dec. 26.  The man was treated at FOB Farah by the FST following an IED blast during a mounted patrol in Farah province.  The man was treated and evacuated for further care.  (U.S. Navy photo by HMC Josh Ives/released)
