November is National Warrior Care Month; the theme for this year’s observance is “Success through Transition — Education, Employment, Entrepreneurship.” In the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment, “The Old Guard,” a special K-9 team is leaving active duty, but Staff Sgt. Katrina Kurz and her canine companion are committed to continuing to serve Wounded Warriors.
