The Army continue to honor their veterans as three former soldiers assigned to the Keller Army Community Hospital Warrior Transition Unit, were presented Purple Heart medals Thursday, during a Warrior Care Month banquet.

After seven long months, the Marines and sailors of 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 6, will soon return home from Sangin, Afghanistan.
“This ship, and the others in its class, will be imperative to MSC’s role in supporting Navy and Marine Corps warfighters worldwide,” said Rear Admiral Mark Buzby, speaking about the Navy’s first Mobile Landing Platform ship after it completed its first float out operation.
