November is National Military Family Appreciation Month, in observance of all the service and sacrifice from Military Families in support of our great nation.

    While active duty, I once sat in the pilot’s seat of a C-9 while it was being towed uphill at a base in Colorado. The tow bar snapped and I immediately applied the brakes which prevented the C-9 from destroying a T-43 at the bottom of the hill. I did not receive so much as a ‘thank you’ for this. I also developed an aircraft and component tracking system at a base in Georgia and received no recognition whatsoever.
