Col. Greg Gadson lost both legs to an IED in Iraq in 2007, and he quickly moved from the role of patient at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center to director of the Army’s Wounded Warrior program.

As Director of the Army’s Wounded Warrior Program, as the new commander of Fort Belvoir or in the movie “Battleship,” Col. Greg Gadson is a constant inspiration to fellow service members.

    Amen! And, for the record, he is absolutely humble and focused on the needs of his post. He’s an inspiration for many reasons but finding ANYONE who isn’t focused on their own needs and concerned for others is difficult in this world, he’s just a fabulous human being!
