Getting your children ready for a new school year can be a big hassle for most parents, especially if you’re a military spouse. Fortunately, the Department of Defense Education Activity has some new programs and initiatives to assist you.
On Thursday, Aug. 30, we were joined by Marilee Fitzgerald, Director of the Department of Defense Education Activity, who will discuss the start of the new school year and initiatives like the Common Core adoption, Parent Portal and DoDEA’s proposed changes to graduation requirements.
