Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus discussed the importance of the great green fleet at Boston Navy Week. He talked about this year’s demonstration at this years Rim of the Pacific exercise.
“The carrier and the submarine will be running on nuclear power, but everything else; the aircraft, the surface combatants, will be on a 50/50 blend of regular aviation gas or diesel and biofuel.”
