Medical Monday: TRICARE Urgent Care

Emergencies are covered, but what if you are sick, or have a need to go to emergency care?  How do you get the help you need, what is the procedure, how do you know where to go?  Rear Adm. Christine Hunter, Deputy Director for TRICARE Management Activity, talks about how to get urgent care when outside of your network.

    P, you should contact your local clinic to find out their network requirements. In some cases, the urgent care visit would be covered when cleared by your PCM and at an approved provider. Please see you local clinic or PCM for more information. (tw)
