In the “DoD This Week” podcast for Dec. 2: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Secretary of Defense Robert Gates discussed wikileaks and the effect it could have on the United States; Dec. 1 was World AIDS Day and President of the United States Barack Obama made a proclamation that focused on the strides made in combating the disease; U.S. and South Korean Navys participated in the third of a four part joint training exercise known as Invincible Spirit; In Pakistan, the U.S. military has announced that it ended it’s humanitarian mission that began four months ago after the flooding of the Swat River Valley; Also, Congress is considering a repeal on the law that bans openly gay men and women from serving in the military, known as “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.”
