Army.mil recently featured an in-depth article on the reluctant hero, the first living MoH recipient since Vietnam.
Tomorrow, Nov. 17, at 10 a.m. EST, Staff Sgt. Salvatore Giunta will officially be inducted into the Hall of Heroes at a ceremony in the Pentagon Auditorium.
There will also be an Army Bloggers Roundtable with Staff Sgt. Brett M. Perry, Staff Sgt. Michael Burns and Staff Sgt. Erick Gallardo, team members of Medal of Honor recipient U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Salvatore Giunta on Nov. 17 at 1:00 p.m. EST.
After the induction ceremony The Pentagon Channel will premiere Medal of Honor: Souls of Valor, an hour-long special on the three recent MoH recipients: Army Staff Sgt. Robert Miller, Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Richard Etchberger, and Army Staff Sgt. Salvatore Giunta.
