DoDLive Bloggers Roundtable: Maj. Gen. Michael J. Basla, vice commander, Air Force Space Command, Peterson Air Force Base, Colo., on Monday, Nov. 8.

Maj. Gen. Basla discussed the Air Force’s cyberspace mission, cyber security, and cyber training & education.

DoDLive Bloggers RoundtableLt. Gen. William B. Caldwell, IV, commander, NATO Training Mission-Afghanistan and Combined Security Transition Command, on Tuesday, Nov. 9.

Lt. Gen. Caldwell discussed the training and development of the Afghan National Security Force over the past year.

DoDLive Bloggers Roundtable: retired U.S. Army Maj. Ed Pulido and Capt. Josh Mantz, Real Warriors Campaign, Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury (DCoE) on Tuesday, Nov. 9.

They were joined by Ken MacGarrigle from the VA’s Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom Program Office.

They discussed the importance of early intervention and care for invisible wounds of war such as post-traumatic stress, major depression and traumatic brain injury. They also discussed the tools and resources available to veterans seeking treatment.

Exercise Frontier Sentinel is a combined interagency exercise involving Joint Task Force Atlantic, the U.S. Coast Guard and the U.S. Navy Fleet Forces Command. The exercise is designed to continue to develop and validate the existing plans, treaties and standard operation procedures for a bilateral response to maritime homeland defense and security threats.
