The Good MAJ and I went to Officer Basic Course together in 1999. It is wonderful to see a female doing well in male dominated profession. But more over it is encouraging to see recognition of the family up bringing. There are times when I see the Army Strong commercials and I am offended by the statement that I will be better than I am now because I joined the Army. I have always believed that it takes a foundation of love, faith, and stregnth to prepare you for the Army.
