U.S. Fleet Forces Command’s, Director of Experimentation, Capt. Carl Conti, and Cmdr. Dave Varnes, Trident Warrior 2010 director, participated in a DoDLive Bloggers Roundtable, July 13.

U.S. Fleet Forces Command recently wrapped up Trident Warrior 2010 (TW10), one of the largest and most complex afloat Navy experiments to date. TW10 is an opportunity to introduce new technologies to the sailor, refine them and make them better. The benefit of such experimentation is that it maximizes results, minimizes costs and saves the taxpayer money. Capt. Conti and Cmdr. Varnes discussed the importance of TW10, what was accomplished during such a large-scale experiment, and where fleet experimentation is headed.
