Trombitas, I am moved beyond words after reading your article. Memorial Day was especially hard for me and our families. I was able to be with Ken and the many others resting at the Alabama National Cemetary. My heart goes out to all of the families that have lost a loved one while serving in our great Nation's Armed Services. Thank you for remembering Ken and all of our Nations Heroes. Not a day goes by that I do not think about the people of Haiti. I pray that God will continue to strengthen the US as we continue to help rebuild and send aid to Haiti. I am so proud to be a part of US Southern Command family and United States Air Force and especially proud of the man and officer my husband, Lt.Col. Kenneth D. Bourland was.
