Having grown up in Temple and being married to someone who served in the first Gulf War and completed his duty at Ft. Hood, this event broke my heart. Terrorism horrible, but when it happens here at home, it is totally mind numbing. We only have the freedoms we enjoy because of the brave men and women who serve in the military. The first responders on Nov. 5th acted selflessly and courageously. Thank you for protecting and serving!
