DoD Medical Experts Describe H1N1 and Seasonal Flu Vaccine Requirements and Availability

U.S. Navy Cmdr. Danny  Shiau, division chief, Force Health Protection, Bureau of Navy Medicine & Surgery and Dr. Robert Morrow, Preventive Medicine Programs and Policy Officer answered questions about the sesonal flu and H1N1  during an Oct. 29 DoDLive Bloggers Roundtable.

Shiau  stressed that immunization for both seasonal flu and H1N1 is mandatory for all military personnel and is highly recommended for beneficiaries.

    you know I wonder if the fact AIDS has spread had anything to do with this flue morphing to hit humans, since it seems similar to the 1918 flue then maybe AIDS has been around much longer than thought?????????
