Exercise Cutlass Express

Off the coast of Tanzania, Africa, European, African and U.S. military maritime forces came together for Exercise Cutlass Express.

The multinational maritime exercise focused on cooperation, tactical expertise, and information sharing among the military forces in hopes to further improve maritime safety and security within the east African region.

What is particularly interesting about this exercise is that it was not only three nations involved. East African forces included 13 nations alone. It is exercises such as these that prove our interoperability with militaries around the world.
