Hero in Uniform, Hero at Home

For any single parent, finding the balance between life and work can seem like a huge undertaking.

It is even more of a challenge if you’re a solo mom or dad who wears a military uniform to work everyday.

“Being a single parent and in the Air Force…it’s almost like two full-time jobs. You put in all that effort at work and then you go home and you gotta be that super-dad,” said Staff Sgt. David Myers.
